Before we were born, we made a choice to come here, to participate in this life! We had a purpose! A reason for being born! Little did we know how easy it would be to forget and get absorbed into the social rat race, chasing after the wrong things in attempt to feel right!

if you are someone who feels an inner calling, a stirring to live from a deeper sense of purpose, then you may be feeling the all too common symptoms of restlessness, dissatisfaction with your current lifestyle, and a longing for something more!

It is often our fear that keeps us stuck in the old ways. We are afraid to let go of what we know, no matter how good or bad. We are afraid to let go of a secure job, or occupation! We fear leaving a marriage or relationship that is no longer working! We are afraid to leave an area we have lived most of our lives or to leave the people we are used to being around.

Yet when we receive the call to awaken, it is also a call to trust in something much greater than ourselves! We are being moved on by a force within that is much more powerful than our fears! Eventually we are lead to overcome our fears and step out into the world in a larger way! This is where our spiritual growth path really begins.

We are called to tap into our God given gifts and to serve humanity! We are called to draw upon our life experiences and use them to take us to the next level.

As corporate structures fall, we find there is no longer any security in them. Getting a good job and retiring with benefits is no longer an option for most. There is a reason for this! Perhaps that reason is that it no longer serves us to be absorbed into systems or structures. Instead we are driven to be independent! We are driven to be responsible to ourselves and to humanity!

As more of us step into our authentic selves we often become self-employed. We put “who we are” to work in the world in service to others! If we are not self-employed we have chosen to work with others who are in alignment with our core values and are offering a service to humanity!

As we embrace this new way of living we find that we are not just dependent upon ourselves but we are dependent upon the universal life-force.

We discover our thoughts, our feelings and our emotional outlook create our reality. Therefore we have to develop a strong relationship with life itself! In the end we realize it is life that supports us!

When we step fully into our power and are working in alignment with universal law, we begin to truly live with integrity. We can no longer get away with dishonesty, greed, or competition because we understand that what we put out is what we get back.

Universal law does not discriminate! It just is. What we do unto others is done unto us. What we believe in becomes our reality! Where we focus our attention and energy is what shows up in our lives.

Life becomes a spiritual growth journey and we must be aware of who we are, of our thoughts, deeds and actions and of what is out-picturing in our lives. When we are “spiritually” aware we begin living in harmony with the universe and those around us.

The inner call to awaken is truly the call to step more fully into who we really are! We let go of the illusions, the fears and the worn out beliefs that keep us stuck and instead embrace life with passion and purpose!

Let that restlessness and dissatisfaction be the guiding force that moves you into your authentic self and live your life as you were born to live!
