In my local community a woman was physically abused by a man I dated four years prior.  He went over the edge and became very violent.  His true colors came out in a big way.  As a result of her screams for help, the neighbors called the police and he was arrested, but Yavapai County set him free because they did not have sufficient funds to prosecute.

A private facebook page was created to help bring justice to the woman who was abused.  Many women were showing up who had also been abused, either by the same man or another in our community and in other communities.

As a result I was asked to start a new forum just for women recovering from abuse.  Whether it is physical, verbal, emotional, sexual or narcissistic, it doesn’t matter.  The focus is on recovering from abuse and becoming empowered.
