Success Stories
Now and then someone will tell me about their success story in not only recovering from narcissistic abuse but also in moving beyond narcissism and finding happiness, sometimes for the first time in thier lives.
I thought it was important to start a page to share success stories with those who are still at the beginning stages of their journey.

I have moved beyond my narcissist. The divorce was finalized in June, 2007.
I often find myself wondering how he and his new mate are making out......wondering if he will
pull the same stuff on her or if he will watch himself more closely in fear of being dumped again.
The divorce was 2 years in the courts (2005-2007).
In late 2006, I started e-mailing a gentleman who lives locally. I loved his sense of humor and
being able to laugh was something I desperately needed and make me laugh, he did!
Long story short, we e-mailed each other back and forth on a daily basis for the next year.
I had sworn off men for life, as you can well imagine.
However, last summer, there came a Divine intervention. In 2005, I had told God that if there was
EVER to be a man in my life again, He would have to:
1) prepare my heart
2) bring that man to me
In late 2007, Ken and I slowed down on the e-mailing and started dating. We couldn't believe the compatability!
We are alot the same.....often finishing each other's sentences.
Because of our Christian beliefs regarding intimacy outside of marriage, we were married on Jan. 9, 2008!
We are soooooo happy, Kaleah.
Narcissism is a part of my past and will remain there.
May God extend his strong hand to all the victims that continue to struggle in that sick "Web of Illusion".
