Everywhere I Go There I Am

I was sitting with my friend Jose having one of those deep conversations about the meaning of life, you know what I mean. What is our purpose for being here anyway? Well it was one of those perfect endings to a perfect day and I was in bliss and I said to Jose “I am in Love.” Jose looked at me kind of strangely as if I was professing my undying love to him and I had to explain. “The love is inside of me! I finally really get that! It was never to be found on the outside and yet I spent my whole life seeking something I would never find. I finally truly understand that I am the love I seek. I am the light! All I need to do now is share who I am in all my glory.”

Well the next morning in attempt to capture the moment of realization I picked up the guitar and started strumming the few chords I had learned and within ten minutes I had a new song I called “There I Am!” Since my guitar skills are still pretty rusty I fired up the studio and recorded this song, live with my cool Korg M50 keyboard and my vocal harmonizer. I laid down one additional harmony track.
